Home Sweet Christchurch

I'm glad to be back to my familiar little room in Christchurch after an absolutely fabulous trip to Melbourne. I've got lots of pictures and a couple of little videos from my trip with A.-J. to Phillip Island. En route to the Penguin Parade, we saw koalas, dingoes, wombats, crocodiles, emus, and kangaroos. We are so smitten with the kangaroos that we think they might edge out the penguins for sweetest, cutest animal of the day. But only by a hair; the penguins (we saw 400 of them!) were cute as buttons.

It's late here in Christchurch and I just got in, but stay tuned for the whole story and lots of pictures. Below you'll find a preview of things to come. Time to fire up the space heater and get some sleep!
